That is lovely. A real keepsake, too. I saved my handmade knitties that folks gave to me for my sons when they were wee. I love that you were so practical about the style and fit for the baby - not all the well-intentioned folks who gave me homemade knits remembered their big round noggins need to fit easily into clothes.
