I know that this is the best thing but I had my heart set on you having a pet sparrow named Captain Jack Sparrow.

Thanks Annie! I liked the idea too, until I saw that KILLAH look in my crazy calico cat's eyes that let me know she would never rest until she gave the poor bird a heart attack!

Another great photo... I had to run around doing other stuff, but meant to comment earlier. You captured such neat movement and shape here with this one. I love that it's just the one wing in the process of stretching out.
I know you'll miss the lil guy, but you're right, 'tis for the best. Wild creatures should be in the wild and free.
