I'm not sure I've ever had Kale? What does it taste like?
It is delicious! It tastes like greens. Not as squeeky as spinach or swiss chard, and not at tough or stringy as collards. Kale can be slightly bitter, but if prepared the way I describe above, it's not bitter at all. :-) I'll bring you some!

How does it taste sauteed with garlic and olive oil? [spinach is delicious that way!]
I love any green vegetable, but especially bitter greens. Your photos made me hungry. You are so luck to have a garden!
Mmmm. I love kale, it's a bit less tender than spinach, so it seems like it's got more "bite" to me. I tend to leave the leaf stems, though, since I like the chewiness. I either deposit the leaves into already boiling water and rinse with cold water after, or I just steam them. And bubbles, I usually just serve mine with olive oil, too.
