Be Nice to Nettles!

Did you know that in the UK this is national be nice to nettles week?

LOL. You are funny. I got stung a little when I was cutting them at my friend Liz's. It was itchy, but not that bad. She and her whole family said they stung like hell and I suppose that might be true if you walk through a bunch of them with shorts on, but I had gloves on and I think maybe one little hair got me on the wrist. So I can't really say.

I've never seen a nettle in person but I refuse to be nice to them! I REFUSE!

I picked a whole bouquet of wildflower and interesting foliagey things once in western Scotland, amongst which, nettles.

here in the uk, nettles usually grow alongside dock leaves and guess what? dock leaves are an antidote for nettle stings!
