Hey Kate? Um, what is a nettle exactly? And how do they sting? And what does it feel like?

I know, I'm a citified pussy. It's okay.

And how about I could have just READ THE INFORMATIVE LINK before asking such a dullard question? I am now a Nettle Expert. *preens*

LOL. You are funny. I got stung a little when I was cutting them at my friend Liz's. It was itchy, but not that bad. She and her whole family said they stung like hell and I suppose that might be true if you walk through a bunch of them with shorts on, but I had gloves on and I think maybe one little hair got me on the wrist. So I can't really say.

I've never seen a nettle in person but I refuse to be nice to them! I REFUSE!

I picked a whole bouquet of wildflower and interesting foliagey things once in western Scotland, amongst which, nettles.
I'm so enjoying your blog, Ms.K.
